What does Offtrace actually do?
Offtrace is a self-service workspace for organizing online privacy requests. Save a page address, review guidance, prepare an editable request draft, and track the response. You submit requests through each website’s official process.
Can Offtrace erase everything about me online?
No. Copies, reposts, backups, public records, and privately saved files may remain. Offtrace helps you organize practical steps to reduce exposure. It does not guarantee removal or a deadline.
Does removing a search result delete the original page?
No. Removing a search result affects visibility in that search engine. The website hosting the original page needs a separate request. Keep source removal and search removal as separate cases.
Will Offtrace automatically search or send requests for me?
The current paid service provides self-service guidance, drafts, and tracking. Live automated searching and outreach are not enabled. The automation area is a preview; it is not a completed removal service.
What can I do for free?
Read the public guides and official-resource directory for free. A free verified account can save up to 3 cases. You can prepare drafts, record progress, and plan follow-up dates.
Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
The Fresh Start Pass is $149 USD once for 90 days and up to 500 saved cases, with no automatic renewal. Personal offers ongoing access at $6 monthly or $60 yearly. These plans provide workspace access, not guaranteed removal.
What happens when my Fresh Start Pass ends?
The 90-day pass does not renew automatically. Saved cases remain available to view, edit, export, and delete. Adding new cases returns to the free limit of 3 unless you explicitly purchase new paid access.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification confirms access to your inbox before you add cases or start a paid plan. In Settings, choose Send verification email, open the newest link, then refresh verification status. The link lasts 24 hours; requesting another replaces the previous link.
Should I upload photos, videos, passwords, or ID?
No. Offtrace has no image, video, or identity-document upload. Use only the page address and minimal notes needed to organize a request. Never put passwords in case notes. Official services may separately ask for information through their own processes.
Where can I find help for intimate images created before age 18?
Use the specialist links in Help & resources. Do not save a case, URL, screenshots, or descriptive details of that imagery in Offtrace, and do not download or share it to use a service. Offtrace accounts are for adults; the public resources are free to read.
Do follow-up dates send reminders?
Dates in Offtrace do not send emails or notifications by themselves. Use Follow-ups to export matching dates as a calendar file, then import it into your calendar. Discreet titles are on by default, and case titles, links, and notes are omitted.
